GHISLAINE DOTÉ is an out of the box singer, dancer, actress and choreographer from Montreal. A bilingual performer, Ghislaine was born in France, grew up in Africa and spent her adulthood in Montreal. As a dancer, she trained in Contemporary, Ballet, African Dance, Jazz and Martial arts and has danced for renown Montreal companies (Flak, Sinha Danse, Van Grimde). Her dance credits also include So You Think You Can Dance Canada (finalist), Cirque du Soleil (performer/coach), Starmania (dancer). As a singer, she trained in both Musical Theatre and Classical voice and also composes her own stuff. Her credits include Award-winning group Lyric Theater Singers,The Virgin Courtesan, A Chorus Line, On Second Avenue, etc. As a choreographer, Ghislaine runs a dance company and choreographs weird cool rhythmic stuff (!), but she also choreographs for Musicals, Drama, Commercial work. Her credits include musicals Godspell, Next to Normal, Angelique (Drama). As an actress, Ghislaine mostly learned her craft on stage performing in Contemporary dance shows and in Musicals, and… she is still learning. Ghislaine also has extensive training in Northern Shaolin Kung fu, as well as training in Taekwondo and... fluently speaks Spanish!
